2 x TWR / Te Whare Ra Sauvignon Blanc 2022
A concentrated and refined Sauvignon Blanc, not the typical tropical fruit style of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. This wine was described by winemaker Anna Flowerday as a Sauvignon Blanc for people who think they don’t like Sauvignon Blanc. Not too in your face but a fresh and subtle style.
2 x TWR / Te Whare Ra Toru White 2021
Gewurztraminer, Riesling & Pinot Gris all from a single vineyard in Marlborough so it made sense to blend them into the Toru White ‘field blend’. It’s an elegant, dry white wine that goes well with spicy food and it is beautiful on its own. Made as a wine the winemakers want to drink.
1 x TWR / Te Whare Ra Riesling D 2017
From the oldest Riesling vines in Marlborough this is a really fabulous dry Riesling, elegant and refined with lime, pears, flinty minerality and just a hint of kerosene that old vine Riesling is renowned for. Produced by organic & biodynamic practices this wine has been produced with great care. If you think you don’t like Riesling you should try this wine!
2 x TWR / Te Whare Ra Pinot Gris 2019
If you are not a fan of Pinot Gris or Pinot Grigio, this wine will change your mind about that maligned grape & its wines. It is an Alsace style Pinot Gris – more stone fruits and minerality than tropical fruits, really elegant and subtle. It’s a single vineyard organic Pinot Gris that is quite simply superb!
4 x TWR / Te Whare Ra Pinot Noir 2018
An exceptional Marlborough Pinot Noir with red fruits, silky smooth texture and, in addition, elegance. A seriously refined wine loved by many judging by its scores and accolades.
1 x TWR / Te Whare Ra Riesling M 2019
From the oldest Riesling vines in Marlborough this is a delicious medium dry Riesling made in the style of the best Mosel Rieslings and by organic & biodynamic practices. Dangerously drinkable!
