A super Rhône white wine produced from Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier. Quite Burgundy-esque in style; elegant, smooth, very round in the mouth yet light and fresh. My favourite white from a recent Southern Rhône trip
If you are not a fan of Pinot Gris or Pinot Grigio, this wine will change your mind about that maligned grape & its wines. It is an Alsace style Pinot Gris - more stone fruits and minerality than tropical fruits, really elegant and subtle. It's a single vineyard organic Pinot Gris that is quite simply superb!
Very food-friendly, complex, dry and unoaked white wine from Austria's top grape, Grüner Veltliner. Full of lovely aromas and flavours, this wine has a lovely opulent texture and a long, smooth, refreshing finish.
I just loved this wine when I first tasted it the 2016 – the 2017 is equally as good. It's organic, full-bodied, complex and silky - apple, pear, citrus fruit, floral notes and more. A really special wine
New Zealand originated and French in style - refreshing acidity, complex fruit and mineral flavours, rich body and a lovely long finish.
Les Longeays is to be granted Premier Cru status and this really is a Premier Cru wine - complex but with crisp freshness, this is a very smooth and elegant white Burgundy with good structure and a very tasty finish. Citrus fruits, green apples and pears combine beautifully with marzipan and some spice

This Winter Whites mixed case contains 2 bottles of six different white Wines with Attitude, all from my main list. I don't include any cheap "fillers".
They are white wines with substance, medium to full bodied, smooth and elegant, complex in style so perfect in the cooler months but all quite different wines. Included in the case are a fabulous Burgundy from a vineyard to be granted premier Cru status, my current favourite Spanish Garnacha Blanca and a fantastic New Zealand Sauvignon Semillon blend that is very popular with my customers.
For winter red wines, see the Winter Warmers. And don't forget the Complete Winter Wine Collection which contains a bottle of each wine in the Winter Warmers and the Winter Whites. Or check out my other mixed cases.
