Lindsay holds the Wine & Spirit Education Trust Diploma in Wine & Spirits (stepping stone to the Master of Wine qualification) and loves to share her passion for great quality wine. She hosts face-to-face and (some) virtual wine tastings for corporate events, private parties, charity functions, dinner parties, wine clubs etc. If you want to find out more, just get in touch.
Wine tastings can be held at home, in the office or your event venue or they can be held online via Zoom or other video-conferencing systems. Each event is bespoke, tailor-made to suit the occasion and the audience.
Lindsay can use wines from your own cellar, from the Wines With Attitude portfolio – or a mix of both. Wines may be tasted blind or not. The aim is to make the wine tastings educational and fun. Usually they are themed, for example:
How to taste wine – for beginners
Classics – a selection of the usual suspects such as French Cabernet Sauvignon, Rioja, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc etc.
Unusual grape varieties or grapes in vogue
Classic vs. unusual grape varieties
Wine & food pairings
Mediterranean tour
“Whose wine is it anyway?” tasting
Often Lindsay will add in a mini blind tasting competition with a prize for the winner(s). Wine tasting can get competitive!
