The Unoaked Whites mixed case contains 12 bottles of the best unoaked white wines (2 bottles of 6 different wines). I find that white wine drinkers fall into two distinct camps – those that love wines that have been fermented and/ or aged in oak and those that very definitely don’t. Most of this latter group prefer the lighter body & colour and the fruitier profile of unoaked wines. This case caters to those that don’t “do” oak!

All these unoaked white Wines with Attitude are from my main list. I don’t include any cheap “fillers”. Produced from different grape varieties and originating from a range of different countries, the wines in this case enable you to sample a range of the white wines in our portfolio. What they have in common is that they are all well made and of excellent quality – and with no oak in sight!

Unoaked Chardonnay, this is classic unoaked Chablis It’s categorised as a crisp, light white wine but also has a medium body, citrus, apple and mineral characteristics
2 x Márcio Lopes Pequeños Rebentos Loureiro 2019 (Crisp Light White)
Crisp, dry, modern style of Vinho Verde produced from the Loureiro grape. Aromatic white wine with flavours of lime, jasmine, bayleaves, subtle apricot and lemon verbena.
2 x TWR / Te Whare Ra Toru White Blend 2021 (Aromatic White)
Organic Gewürztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Gris from a single vineyard in Marlborough, co-fermented for a seamless blend that is elegant, dry, creamy without being rich and with a very long finish of mineral, citrus and pear flavours.
2 x Erste & Neue Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2021 (Crisp Light White)
Italian Pinot Blanc that is a crisp, dry white wine that’s been aged in stainless steel to retain its fruity flavours of apples and pears with lime and almond notes
2 x Château Unang Ventoux Blanc 2019 (Crisp Light White)
Organic Rhone white wine showing a real complexity of fruit, herbs and minerality and ending with a lovely, long citrussy finish. Relatively low in alcohol at 12.5%
2 x Coto de Gomariz Coto de Gomariz Blanco 2021 (Crisp Light White)
Very food-friendly Spanish dry white wine that is loaded with lemon, lime and stone fruit aromas and flavours. The palate is lush, elegant and ripe, with a satisfying, lingering zesty finish
